Ken Vieth was among the original group of individuals to establish the organization of USCHI in infancy. Throughout the years Ken continued to take a strong leadership role in the organization's activities and later would serve a three-year term on the Board of U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc.

When activities of the organization required legal review, Ken was quick to suggest a law firm in Amarillo which could help. this firm has been very helpful in the past and remains the legal council of our organization today.

As a Board of Director, Ken had a way of calling on his years of experience to make a strong suggestion to provide us with that much needed direction. Often this resulted in a positive decision and allowed us to move on in our agenda. Always his suggestion was in the best interest of our organization. He was, and still is adamant about the importance of "safety" and doing everything he could to promote it to our membership.

Today, Ken and Mable Vieth continue to support the organization by their involvement in our meetings. Ken has served on our scholarship committee selecting deserving students to receive the money to further their education.

Ken and Mable enjoy helping those who strive to help themselves. Ken is not only involved but strives to convey leadership and he continues to share his time as well as his knowledge for the benefit of the members of USCHI.
