hello.
my name is alan, I am 22 and from Ireland. I have just got a honours degree in mechanical engineering. we run a dairy farm. I have 5 years experience working for my uncle agri contracting. ploughing, mowing silage, grain carting, power harrowing, digger driving, etc. I also have great workshop skills, I can service/repair anything and I am a good welder. Hello
I am looking for a job for this next year and am wondering about joining a custom crew. I am currently a 21 year old college student and would be looking for hire the end of May through the middle of August.
I have 7 years experiance with cart operation and 3 with a combine harvesting corn and soybeans. Have no CDL but am willing to get one and know my way around a truck. Is this a viable option for me?

Hi my name is Paul from Ireland both me and my friend are hoping to find a harvest crew to join for the 2010 season. We both come from strong farming backrounds and have vast tractor experience and would be willing to pass our C.D.L. I also have some combine experience at Barley, wheat and oats. We would both be willing to work a full season and are both 22 years old. We would be greatful if anyone could help us find a crew or help us in anyway. Dear Sirs, my name is Richard de Jager and until 2006 I had my own farm in England. I also have a son Andrew who is 19 and has just finished agricultural college. What I would like to do is find a custom harvest crew to take us on so we can see the various states and farming practices with hopes in 2011/12 to buy or lease a farm or buy into or buy out a custom harvest operation. My son Andrew is a very competent tractor driver and I have over 30 yrs combining experience with New Holland, Claas and John Deere combines. Andrew is willing to take his CDL, I myself have a British CDL. I would be grateful if you could tell me which visas would be needed as my son is on a British passport and I am a Canadian citizen and have a Canadian passport.
