I just finished up combining a couple of weeks ago. this is my 2nd yr in the buisness, and i was wondering if anyone has any advice or comments on how to grow a little bigger. I have 1 combine but would like to expand and get a truck trailer combo, grain cart tractor combo, and would like to update my combine. Also how long did it take some of you (that run 4 or more combines)to get as big as you are. Any and all comments are welcome, just email me kent_hemker@hotmail.com

I would just send your memorial to U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc., 119 W. Sherman, Hutchinson, KS 67501. Make sure you include a note with your check stating the money is in honor of J. L. A return address would be great for Modena to keep track of and for thank you notes. THANKS, Robin! I'm sure J. L. is smiling.

I heard about J.L. and was shopping for flowers when I read the obituary and learned they would rather contributions be made to USCHI (God bless that wonderful man.) So that's what I want to do, how do I do that?

Heard about J.L. and keeping the family in my prayers. J.L. was indeed the heart of USCHI and I will always have fond memories of him. Modena, we love you and hold you in our prayers. Phyllis

For those of you who have not heard yet, J L Pettiet passed away yesterday morning, December 3rd. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Modena and the rest of the Pettiet family. I am so thankful we were able to have J L and Modena with us in Wichita Falls this past March for the 25th anniversary of the organization. J L and Modena were both big parts of the beginning of the USCHI.
